? The Kick-off Meeting for the RUL-ET project was held on 11 September at the offices of TECNALIA Research & Innovation, located in the Derio Technology Park.
? RUL-ET, an acronym for “Remaining Useful Life of Mooring and Umbilical Systems for Offshore Renewables”, is part of the 2024 #ELKARTEK programme, funded by the Department of Industry, Energy Transition and Sustainability of the Basque Government (Eusko Jaurlaritza).
? The main objective of the project is to develop new approaches based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the creation of datasets to estimate the Remaining Useful Life (RUL) of mooring systems and dynamic power export cables for floating marine energy devices.
? The project is coordinated by TECNALIA Research & Innovation and also includes the participation of five other members of the Basque Science, Technology and Innovation Network: BCAM – Basque Center for Applied Mathematics, Mondragon Unibertsitatea, UPV/EHU through its Departments of Energy Engineering and Mathematics, Vicinay Marine Innovation, and the Basque Energy Cluster.
? An exciting journey lies ahead – stay tuned! ?
